The humbling recognition of the Bible's message that all of us are far from perfect. Thankfully God's desire `is not to alienate or reject us, but to embrace and forgive anyone who acknowledges their need to be forgiven. What a gracious God who would enter this world to suffer and die in our place, because His love for sinners runs deeper than His wrath toward sin. Jesus took our punishment at the cross so He could offer us freedom from guilt or shame. If you trust Him, He will make your heart His home, and will never leave you or forsake you.
